These songs were written in 2016 after the last Immaculate Fools tour of Spain, sadly they were never taken into the studio but the rehearsals were recorded and several years later were played to Amanda Jayne Clark who felt inspired by the live performances and wrote and performed all the songs in 2020.We feel the essence of these songs and the performances deserve to be out there and we hope you enjoy them in the spirit they were performed.
lyrics
TOD
Feed It Need it It’s built up inside
Taste it Don’t waste it So full of pride
See their hunger Growing stronger
They’re not alone
They’re all craving they’re all raving
Hearts of Stone
It’s quite absurd – They’re lying
With every word – About everything
And like a bird I’m gonna sing
What kind of Hell are we living in?
Manic Mondays Panic Fridays All roads in between
They seduce you so they can use you – Do you know what I mean?
See their hunger Growing stronger
They’re not alone
They’re all craving they’re all raving
Hearts of Stone
It’s quite absurd – They’re lying
With every word – About everything
And like a bird I’m gonna sing
What kind of Hell are we living in?
But they say and you say
They say you say
It feels so good Like it should
Feels so good Feels so –
(It’s quite absurd) – They’re lying
(With every word) – About everything
And like a bird I’m gonna sing
What kind of Hell are we living in?
(It’s quite absurd) – They’re lying
(With every word) – About everything
And like a bird I’m gonna sing
What kind of Hell are we living in?
